 Any seasoned horticulturist will tell you the best way to have a show-stopping spring garden is to plan ahead. This fall, Riverbanks horticulturists are offering the public an opportunity to stock up on the hottest selections that will guarantee a spectacular garden next spring.
“The bulbs at this year’s sale have been selected by the horticulturists at Riverbanks as plants that will thrive in our climate, eliminating the guesswork for gardeners,” said Andy Cabe, director of Riverbanks Botanical Garden. The second opportunity to properly prep for spring will come in November at the Fall Bulb Sale. The sale will be held on Saturday, November 7, from 9am to noon. Riverbanks will offer a wide variety of bulbs that gardeners won’t find at the average nursery. With 10 never-before-offered bulbs, this sale is sure to delight.
