"Lollipops" concerts introduce children to classical music and the instruments of the orchestra through interactive concerts presented by members of the GSO. During each concert, chamber ensembles perform while a storybook about music is read. And of course, audience members receive a lollipop at the end of each performance!

Lollipops & Timbre Tales concerts provide an age appropriate introduction for young audiences to classical music and the instruments of the orchestra through interactive concerts presented by members of the GSO.

During each concert, GSO chamber groups play while a storybook about music is performed by South Carolina Children's Theatre Principal Teaching Artist Traysie Amick.

Lollipops concerts are recommended for K3 to second graders and Timbre Tales concerts are recommended for K3 to fifth graders, although all children and adults are welcome. Reservations are not required and admission is free.
