Cross Country Home Services Opens Customer Care Facility in Anderson; 350 New Jobs to be Created


The Upstate SC Alliance celebrates along with the South Carolina Department of Commerce, Anderson County, the City of Anderson and the Anderson County Economic Development Office the opening of the Cross Country Home Services new customer care facility.

Cross Country Home Services, Inc. (CCHS), the leader in helping companies drive revenue and customer loyalty through a comprehensive set of home warranties, home service plans and homeowner emergency assistance programs, officially opened its new customer care facility in Anderson, South Carolina.

In an effort to keep pace with CCHS’ double-digit growth, the company invested $3 million in a new facility and is creating 350 new jobs in the Anderson community. Over the past six months, over 70 new employees have joined CCHS’ in the Anderson facility and have undergone extensive training.

New Jobs

The company’s goal is to hire a total of approximately 100 employees in Anderson by the end of 2008. In the next two to three years, the company plans to hire a total of more than 350 new staff members in this location. The company will remain headquartered in Florida, where it will retain its existing positions.

Many of the new jobs in S.C. include:

  • Customer Service Agents – Handle incoming claims calls from existing customers needing service
  • Service Authorizers – Evaluate incoming claims calls based on previous experience in the trades, providing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, heating or appliance repair approvals
  • Retention Specialists – Describe features and benefits of services to those customers with questions about how the membership or service works

Site Search

The Windsor Place Shopping Center location was selected as the result of an extensive, 14-month site search conducted by Site Selection Group, Inc., based in Dallas, Texas. The national search sought to identify the community most compatible with the company’s needs.
