A Child's Haven offers programs designed to provide a rich, warm, loving, and supportive, family-like environment where your child may develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually.

Affirm serves the entire nine-county area known as the Upstate and provides a safe place where GLBTQ youth meet and form friendships, build positive self esteem, and develop skills necessary for dealing with a negative environment.

AID Upstate is an AIDS Service Organization serving Upstate South Carolina (Anderson, Oconee, Pickens and Greenville counties). Currently, AU serves, on average, 750+ clients and families touched by HIV/AIDS.

Alston Wilkes Society provides support services to adult and juvenile offenders, former offenders and the homeless. Alzheimer's Association - Upstate SC Chapter
The Alzheimer's Association--Upstate South Carolina Chapter-- is a non-profit charitable tax-exempt, voluntary health organization dedicated to family support, education, research, and advocacy. The National headquarter is located in Chicago. There are approximately 4.5 million persons affected by Alzheimer's Disease or related dementia in the United States. American Leprosy Missions is the oldest and largest U.S. organization devoted to restoring the lives of people affected by leprosy, is a non-denominational Christian non-profit organization. Commission for the Blind - South Carolina

Community Food Bank of the Piedmont is an umbrella organization serving as a central distribution warehouse for hundreds of food pantries, emergency shelters, churches, food kitchens and other ministries across the Upstate. Through our network agencies, The Community Food Bank of the Piedmont is able to reach the nearly 175,000 hungry individuals living in the ten (10) counties we serve. Among this harsh figure, nearly 60,000 are children.

Connie Maxwell Children's Home provides hope for children and families dealing with difficult situations in their lives. This residential childcare ministry is headquartered in Greenwood, SC with four other campuses across the state.

Greer Community Ministries serves and supports its elderly neighbors who are unable to prepare or secure food for themselves through our Mobile Meals program. The organization also provides a Senior Dining program and transportation as an outlet for those facing isolation and provides emergency food and clothing assistance for the disadvantaged within the Greater Greer area.

Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County is a Christian housing ministry building simple, affordable homes for deserving, needy families. Habitat homeowners buy their homes at cost with a 20 year, interest free loan - and must perform 400 hours of "sweat equity" building their own home or other Habitat homes. We provide a "hand up" instead of a "hand out".

Hands On Greenville

Pendleton Place Children's Shelter

Phyllis Wheatley Association
Started by Hattie Logan Duckett in 1919, the Phillis Wheatley Association was an organization that originally provided a social academic center for young African American women in Greenville, South Carolina. Today, 83 years later, the Phillis Wheatley Association caters to the needs of a diverse population throughout Greenville County and offers a wide range of services from serving meals to senior citizens to caring for preschoolers in a daycare program, from providing a Repertory Youth Theater for creative expression to hosting a nationally credentialed Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

Piedmont Women's Center
Free and confidential services include, but are not limited to: free pregnancy tests with immediate results and confidential counseling; a safe and secure place to talk about your feelings and explore all your alternatives; limited ultrasounds through your first trimester; referrals for medical and legal aid and information; and information and counceling about sexually transmitted diseases.

Red Ribbon Works
Red Ribbon Works is a parent-based community coalition, designed to get parents involved because they are the first line of defense in keeping kids off drugs. The coalition makes the community aware of the need to prevent and intervene on an ongoing basis.

Sable Rescue, Inc. is located in Greenville South Carolina. The organization pull sanimals under death sentence from animal control and shelters who do not have room for them any longer, and keeps the animals until a home can be found for them. Sable Rescue supports spay and neuter programs.

SC Ovarian Cancer Foundation
This is an organization brought together by ovarian cancer patients, healthcare providers, and other concerned individuals for the dissemination of information about ovarian cancer. It has been designed for the patients, for support, for education of the public and healthcare providers, and for the furthering of research in ovarian cancer in the state of South Carolina. The Foundation has affiliations with major gynecologic oncology centers in this state.

SHARE
Sunbelt Human Advancement Resources, Inc. (SHARE) is a Community Action Agency (CAA) serving Greenville, Anderson, Pickens and Oconee counties. We are a non-profit agency that provides a wide range of services to low and moderate-income residents in upstate South Carolina. The mission of SHARE is to help low-income individuals, families, and neighborhoods become self-sufficient.
