Greenville
YMCA Camp Greenville is very proud of its very special natural setting.
The mountain top campus is situated at 3200 feet above sea level and
includes well over 1600 acres of property. Set on the eastern ridge of
the Blue Ridge Mountains, Camp Greenville provides excellent panoramic
views of the South Carolina upstate area.
Carolina
Panthers Training Camp
The Carolina Panthers train every summer at Wofford College in
Spartanburg, SC, and host a variety of camps, competitions, and
programs. Football fans are welcome to watch practices; it is strongly
suggested that fans bring blankets, towels, folding chairs, or
golf-type stools to make the hillside a more comfortable spot, and also
sunscreen and hats.
Carolina Scuba Club meets at
6:30pm the third Tuesday of each month at Fatz Cafe, 1145 Woodruff Rd.,

Electric City
Cycling Club
The ECCC, based in Anderson, SC, is a mostly touring, partly racing
club which also includes a sizeable mountain biking population. We have
over 200 members from all over Upstate (Northwest) South Carolina.
Golden
Strip Track Club is a non-profit community
based organization, managed by volunteers. The objective is to provide
youth an opportunity to participate in Track and Field activities in an
organized and positive environment.

County Recreation District
The Greenville County Recreation District is committed
to improving the quality of life in this community by providing
recreation facilities and leisure time programming for its residents
and visitors.
Greenville Parks and
Recreation Department
The Parks & Recreation Department provides supervision and
administrative support for the operation of recreation programs and
facilities, for activities of the Greenville Zoo, and for the
maintenance of parks, beautification sites, rights-of-way, cemeteries
and trees. This office also promotes leisure opportunities through the
news media, utilizes co-sponsors to enhance public awareness and
participation, and serves as the City's liaison to downtown festivals
and City advisory boards.

Hollywild
Animal Park
Hollywild Animal Park is located near Inman in Spartanburg County,
South Carolina, one of the most scenic and culturally diverse areas of
South Carolina's Upcountry. Nestled on over 100 acres, Hollywild is a
501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing an interactive
and enlightening experience for our visitors as we continually improve
the lives of our animals in an enriching and respectful environment.
Mudslingers
The Cherokee Mudslingers ATV Club is a member run club dedicated to
safe, fun and ethical ATV riding. The club was formed in July of 1998
when landowners stopped OHVs from riding at the sandbar located in
Gaffney, SC on the Broad River. The club headquarters are located in
Gaffney, SC.
Pavillion Indoor
Recreation Complex
Full size ice skating rink, tennis courts, gameroom, concessions,
summer daycamps and afterschool programs. The Pavilion in Taylors, SC
is home to the Brushy Creek & Southern miniature passenger
railroad. One of only two public indoor rinks in South Carolina. Call

Roper Mountain Science
Center
Owned and operated by the School District of Greenville County, the
Science Center's primary purpose is to provide high quality enhancement
to the school district's classroom curriculum. Through its numerous
hands-on and attention-grabbing science programs available to
school-age children, the Science Center has earned a reputation
throughout the state of providing students with dynamic, entertaining
and thought-provoking science programs that, no doubt, are leading many
of today's students into future careers in science.
The Roper Mountain Science Center is located off I-385 at Exit 37
(Roper Mountain Road); cross over the Interstate bridge and the
entrance is the second road on the right.

Soccer Association
As the only all girls soccer club in Upstate South Carolina, the
Upstate Girls Soccer Association (UGSA) was founded in 1988 for the
purpose of creating an environment sensitive to the unique needs of the
female soccer player and providing girls with the same opportunities
that were historically afforded only to boys.

Mountain Bikers Association
The mission of the UMBA is to provide an organization to work with
local land managers to build and maintain a network of trails to
improve the mountain biking experience of its membership. Maps, trail

Westside Aquatics
Center
Westside Aquatic Center features South Carolina's only public 50 meter
enclosed swimming pool and a year-round menu of daily recreation swim
and lap times, instruction, senior citizens aquarobics, scuba and
kayaking.
