The Greenville County Museum of Art has unveiled a new exhibition, Southern Scene, which features Southern-related art and artists of the American Scene movement and its evolution from the Depression era to the Cold War years of the 1950s. The term "American Scene" describes the socially aware, politically oriented art, focused specifically on American subjects, that was developed during this period in a variety of styles.
